Parkside

Pilates is not only about what happens during a class. Over time, the awareness and strength you build can change how you move through everyday life.

Build usable strength

Pilates develops strength through controlled movement, alignment and resistance. Instead of isolating one area, exercises encourage the body to work as a connected system.

Support mobility and control

Mobility is more than flexibility. It is the ability to move through a useful range with control. A consistent practice can help you feel less restricted and more capable in daily movement.

Reconnect with your body

Thoughtful instruction gives you space to notice your breath, posture and movement patterns. That awareness can build confidence both inside and outside the studio.

Consistency over intensity

You do not need to push harder every week to make progress. Regular, well-supported movement is often more sustainable—and more rewarding—than an all-or-nothing approach.

At Parkside Pilates in Earlwood, we create space to move, connect and transform at your own pace.

There is no single “best” way to practise Pilates. The right class format depends on your experience, goals, confidence and the kind of support you enjoy.

Group classes

Group reformer classes bring energy, consistency and community to your week. They are ideal when you are comfortable following shared instruction and want a motivating full-body workout.

Semi-private classes

Semi-private Pilates offers the best of both worlds: a small-group atmosphere with more individual attention, detailed corrections and room to progress with confidence.

Private and duet sessions

Private sessions are built around you. They can be especially valuable when you are managing an injury, returning to movement, working toward a specific goal or simply prefer focused coaching. Duet sessions let you share that tailored experience with a friend or family member.

Start where you feel supported

Whichever format you choose, the Parkside approach stays the same: personalised, empowering and grounded in care.

Trying something new can feel equal parts exciting and uncertain. Reformer Pilates is designed to meet you where you are, whether you are returning to movement, building strength or simply looking for a practice that feels good.

What is reformer Pilates?

The reformer uses a moving carriage, springs and straps to create support and resistance. That combination helps you explore controlled, full-body movement while developing strength, mobility and body awareness.

Before your first class

There is no need to keep up

At Parkside, movement is personal. Your instructor can offer variations and thoughtful corrections so you can work at a pace that suits your body. The goal is not perfection—it is connection, confidence and progress.
