Hello, I’m Renee the owner and founder of Parkside Pilates. I have been involved in the fitness industry for more than two decades, but my love of Pilates blossomed when I started managing a Pilates studio. Taking classes everyday helped heal chronic pain and injuries I was carrying from Crossfit training and heavy weight lifting.
My body began to heal, and I was hooked! The healing power of Pilates was magical. I needed to study this and share it with the world!
I completed my Pilates studies with Polestar Pilates Rehabilitation and Studio.
I have a real passion for teaching Pilates, as I have seen and experienced how it can help heal the body.
The purpose of creating Parkside Pilates was to create a warm, welcoming environment for my clients to feel empowered, uplifted and connected to their mind, body and spirits.
I am always learning. I continue to enhance my knowledge and skills by keeping up to date with the latest studies and developments in health and fitness.
As well as being a personal trainer and Pilates instructor I am also an Energetic Health and Healing Practitioner. Studying Energetic work is reflective of my desire to always use a holistic approach of mind, body, spirit in my Pilates Practice.
